Professional Licensure Verification

Real RPA Case Studies, Real Verifiable Solutions

Industry: Human Resources

Applications: Infor, Nursys.com, OnBase

Overview:

A part of internal HR Onboarding new nurse hires is verifying the nurse hired is licensed. This includes RNs, LPNs, and Traveling RNs.

Problem:

License verification is a tedious task. A Human Resources employee must search a new hire on Nursys.com, a national database for verification of nurse licensure. Once found, the employee obtains the license status and logs into OnBase and Infor to import the license information under the candidates profile. This process averaged about 10 minutes per new hire.

Solution:

Using RPA technology, CampTek was able to reduce the process time to 1 minute per new hire. The teams worked together over the course of 2 months to sort the process steps, business exceptions and testing for various scenarios before launching the bot live. This automation also processes through two different types of captcha puzzles.
